PatchWorthy patches are achievement recognition for training milestones — like merit badges in Scouting or belt colors in martial arts. They celebrate real skills your dog has learned.
Our patches do NOT:
Under the ADA, there is no official certification, registration, or ID card required for service dogs. Any website claiming to "certify" a service dog is misleading consumers. We are transparent about what we are: a fun way to celebrate your dog's training achievements.
PatchWorthy is an achievement system for dog training. Think of it like Boy Scout merit badges, but for your dog. You choose a skill, train your dog, film them performing it, and earn a beautiful embroidered patch. It's a fun, tangible way to track and celebrate your dog's training progress.
After purchasing a patch, you'll receive a link to our video submission form. Film your dog performing the skill according to the criteria on the patch's page, then upload the video. Our team reviews it within 48 business hours.
If your dog doesn't quite meet the criteria, we'll send you specific, encouraging feedback and you can resubmit as many times as you need — for free.
Nope! You can earn patches in any order you like. If your dog already knows advanced skills, go straight to the Advanced tier. There are no prerequisites — just pick the skills your dog knows (or wants to learn) and go for it.
No worries at all! You get unlimited free resubmissions. We'll send you specific feedback on what to work on, and you can submit a new video whenever your dog is ready. We want every dog to succeed.
Once your video is approved, patches ship within 1-2 business days via USPS First Class Mail. Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days after shipping, so you should have your patch within about a week of approval. We'll send you a tracking number.
Because patches are earned through video review, we don't offer returns on patches that have been shipped. However, if your patch arrives damaged or defective, contact us and we'll replace it immediately at no charge.
We accept MP4 and MOV files up to 100MB. Most smartphone cameras record in these formats by default. Videos should be 30 seconds to 3 minutes depending on the skill. Good lighting and clear visibility of your dog are the main requirements.
Yes! We have a Trainer Partner program. Professional trainers can use PatchWorthy as a motivation tool for their clients, offer patches as rewards for completing training goals, and earn commission on referral sales. Contact us at hello@patchworthy.com to learn more.
Yes! For training classes, dog clubs, or groups of 10+, contact us about bulk pricing. We also offer wholesale rates for pet stores and training facilities that want to carry PatchWorthy products.

Shipping is $4.99 for individual patch orders. Orders of $50 or more ship free. All bundle orders include free shipping. We currently ship within the United States only.
